Tanjung Benoa is a beautiful peninsula in
southern part of Bali. Tanjung Benoa is belong to a subdistrict (kelurahan) of South
Kuta District of Badung Regency. Tanjung Benoa is located on the seashore of
Indian Ocean. This area is renowned as the area of hotels and restaurants. It
is home of water sports (jet ski, banana boat, parasailing, snorkeling, etc) as
well. Straight in the north of Nusa Dua enclave is the peninsula of Tanjung
Benoa as the area where many exclusive hotels are available. A
multi-denominational area, it includes a mosque, Chinese and Hindu temples in
close proximity. Much of the beach's sand was eroded away following the mining
of the nearby barrier reef for construction materials. Benoa Port is also
located here for yachts and small ships previously, but in December 2012 became
Benoa Cruise International Terminal of turnaround port to serve both
embarkation and debarkation of cruise passengers. As turnaround port tourists
can arrive by plane and leave by a cruise ship or conversely.
LOCATION
The remaining mangrove marsh still lies at the
western side of the entrance. Tanjung Benoa is located 15 kilometres and takes 20 minutes from
the international airport but if you are already staying within the Nusa Dua
cluster, it is just few steps away from the west gate. It takes 30 minutes from Kuta Legian and Seminyak. From Denpasar and Sanur about 45 minutes.

Water sports can be enjoyed at the Tanjung Benoa
beach such as: jet ski, parasailing, banana boating, scuba diving, snorkeling,
glass bottom, flying fish and a visit to Turtle Island (turtle island). From
the small harbor / concrete pier, Tanjung Benoa, Bali, you can see the Serangan
Island, lying low on the water. From Benoa (fishing village), people can depart
daily by the Cruise ship. Out in the bay, is an anchorage for ocean - going
